Mobile phones are spreading into every corner of the world and in line with this trend, children’s use of mobile phones has increased. In Japan, children’s use of mobile phones has been a controversial issue which has been discussed in the society. Although parents have worry about children’s use of mobile phones, they let children have this convenient media for the sake of their children and parents themselves. What are the driving forces behind their worry? The issue has been discussed referring children’s mobile phone use in 6 countries.
